Seller's liability for latent defects

A recent decision from the Court of Québec suggests that the failure on the part of the seller of a property to declare to the buyer that the property was affected by a defect in the past has no bearing in an action for latent or hidden defects when adequate repairs are made by the seller prior to the sale. (Carini v.
