One of the problems that often arises in matters of successoral law is the heirs' dissatisfaction with the work provided by the liquidator of the succession. A lawyer, offering services in successoral law, would tell these disappointed heirs that the remplacement of the liquidator, designated within the will of the deceased, is extremely difficult to obtain, unless a negligence on his part, a conflict of interests or an act of dishonesty or of malpractice can be demonstrated. In these cases, attorney fees are usually paid by the estate, rather than by the liquidator.
